Caught in the Net

Looking for a way to deliver E-Safety messages to young people?
“Caught in the Net” is an exciting original drama, endorsed by Schools Liaison Police Officers, which does just that. This play deals with issues like cyber-bullying, pro-anorexia sites, identity theft, online grooming and fraudulent use of social networking, in a way that opens up conversations about the risks. Aimed at young people from the S1 age group, this piece is useful for teachers, parents and leaders of Youth Groups.
The play is most effective when delivered within a school community. Youth Music Theatre Scotland offers a package to allow schools to present “Caught in the Net” to their own pupils, incorporating all necessary materials and sessions with the writers and other experienced Teaching Artists.
This production won the UK ESET CyberSmart Awards 2013 – see our post to hear more about what the judges said about the show.
